We’ve been getting a lot of questions about this, so here’s the scoop. We are wildly excited to have Academy Black as our headliners on Saturday night. They’ll be blazing through a set of Academy Black originals, and they’re threatening to bring their fog machine, too.
In addition, Academy Black will be joined by special guest Michael Haaga, formerly of dead horse. They’ll be performing songs from throughout Michael’s career, including material from The Plus and Minus Show, the Demonseeds, and yes, dead horse.
If you saw Fitzgerald’s 9/26 ad which said that Michael was doing a set of dead horse material, that’s incorrect. Dead horse isn’t playing – it’s Academy Black! Michael Haaga isn’t doing only dead horse songs! The remaining Beatles aren’t coming back from the dead! Led Zeppelin isn’t going on tour! (O.K., actually, Led Zeppelin is going on tour).
